{"id":3240,"date":"2019-11-27T20:41:38","date_gmt":"2019-11-27T20:41:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westernmirror.com\/?p=3240"},"modified":"2019-11-27T20:41:40","modified_gmt":"2019-11-27T20:41:40","slug":"strange-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westernmirror.com\/?p=3240","title":{"rendered":"Strange death"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Barrington Flemming &#8211; <\/strong>Staff Reporter<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>It is still a mystery\nto the police and relatives of 50-year-old farmer and construction worker,\nRaymond Deans of Roehampton district in South St. James, as to what could have\nled to his death, after his body was fished from waters in the North Gully\nbelow the bridge at the intersection of Harbour Street and Embassy Place in\nMontego Bay on Sunday morning. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deans was said to have been admitted to the Cornwall Regional Hospital since Wednesday, after complaining of Dengue-like symptoms. He was later confirmed to have the virus. Now, however, questions are emerging as to how he could have ended up in the gully below the bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"169\" height=\"199\" src=\"http:\/\/westernmirror.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/RAYMOND-DEANS.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3243\"\/><figcaption>Raymond Deans<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police reports are that about 8:20 a.m., residents saw the\nbody submerged in the water and summoned the lawmen.
