{"id":2479,"date":"2019-07-01T20:31:20","date_gmt":"2019-07-01T20:31:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westernmirror.com\/?p=2479"},"modified":"2019-07-01T20:31:23","modified_gmt":"2019-07-01T20:31:23","slug":"%ef%bb%bfhorrific","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/westernmirror.com\/?p=2479","title":{"rendered":"\ufeffHORRIFIC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><br>A horrific vehicular collision on the Point main road in Lucea, Hanover, last Thursday, June 27, claimed the life of hotel worker Rajay Gayle, a resident of Cauldwell district in Green Island.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports are that about 3:30 p.m., a black and red motorcycle\ndriven by Gayle, collided with a Toyota Corolla motor car driven by Tevin\nWilliams, a bartender from Montpelier. The collision occurred due to Gayle\novertaking a bus that was in his path at a particular section of the Point main\nroad. This action took him directly into the path of the incoming car driven by\nWilliams, causing the two vehicles to collide.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eyewitness reports and subsequent observations by the\nrespondent team suggest that Williams\u2019 motor car was travelling from Lucea and\nheading in the direction of Montego Bay, while Gayle was heading in the\nopposite direction. Gayle and Williams were the only injured parties in the\nwake of the collision. Williams sustained only superficial injuries that were\nlimited specifically to his face. He received treatment at the Noel Holmes\nHospital and was discharged later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gayle\u2019s death occurred due to gruesome injuries he suffered\nduring the collision.
