Red Cross Youth Rally for MoBay

This year’s theme is ‘Empowering di Yutes to Eliminate disputes; Stop Violence! Start Volunteering’. It seeks to bring to the fore the issue of violence in Jamaica and how youth can prevent it. Jamaica Red Cross youth will be doing presentations and interactive exercises promoting the theme and also launching its Violence Prevention Project.

National Youth Rally will attract more than 800 Red Cross Youth island- wide to showcase their talents and participate in the drill, first aid, arts and craft, quiz, culinary arts and banner competitions. The event starts with a road march on Barnett Street and culminates with a youth concert and awards ceremony with surprise guest performers!

Invited organizations include the Montego Bay Marine Park, Boys & Girls Club, IKAN and the National Youth Service.
