Miss Global Pageant in high gear
The Miss Jamaica Global Pageant is in high gear according to pageant director, Lachu Ramchandani, and the contestants are having the time of their lives since the eliminations.
Seventeen of the 21 finalists paid a courtesy call on the Governor General Sir Patrick Allen and Commissioner of Police, Owen Ellington last week.
Over the weekend they went on a tour of Negril where they were treated to cocktails at Peeplz Bar in Hopewell and also enjoyed the ambiance of the Jungles Night Club. Prior to all that they were treated to a fabulous dinner at Grand Lido Breezes. The highlight of their trip was participating in the fashion show by Madame Seductive, Ms. Dacian Alexander who is the sponsor for the gowns and swimwear.
This Saturday April, 28 they will be visiting the Dunn’s River Falls and swim with the Dolphins at Dolphin Cove Ocho Rios followed by a sunset cruise by Kool Runnings Water Boat culminating with dinner courtesy of Gran Bahia Principe.
May 4 will be the talent show at Hotel RIU. The public is invited and access can be gained by purchasing an evening pass.
Miss Jamaica Global coronation takes place on May 5 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
