Eighteen-year-old Amanda Elliott of the Cave Valley community in Hanover continues to celebrate her coronation as Miss Hanover Beauty Queen 2011.

Elliott who wore the sash, “Miss Shop Like A Star” walked away with the 2011 title during a pageant held rcently at the Jockey Factory in the Hanover capital, Lucea.

First runner-up went to Sabrina Wedderburn, “Miss Unwired Jamaica” and second runner-up, Alexis Jackson, “Miss Florizel Court Villas”. 

Produced by McIntosh Entertainment in association with Poize Int’l modeling agency, the show featured an electrifying dance from the contestants. 

All eyes were fixed on the young ladies as they received an overwhelming response from the audience, who burst into uncontrollably excitement as the contestants danced up a storm to Beyonce’s ‘Run the World’ track.

           ENTERTAINMENT

Entertainment was by female soloists Golda and Shawn Campbell. Renowned cabaret and recording artiste Marisko performed an acoustic version of Bruno Mars ‘Just the way you are’ as he serenaded the ladies and wowed the audience with his rendition. 

Family, friends, and sponsors turned out to see the contestants showcase the best of their talent, beauty, resilience, and grace as they vied for the title of “Miss Hanover Beauty Queen.”
