Holland Estates unveils model home
Anxious home owners on Wednesday joined developers James Goren and Kirk Kennedy and government officials in unveiling the model home in the newly constructed Holland Estate Housing Scheme in Trelawny.
In an interview with Kennedy he disclosed that the model home showcases one of the most spacious and affordable studio flats to be constructed. According to the young entrepreneur, his Kew Cash Construction company joined forces with Zuccherian Developments and launched the project in February of 2010. He pointed out that the project is the only one of its kind in Western Jamaica which offers home seekers three different options.
According to him, the team has a 20-30 vision and has created a dream come through where families can afford a dream home at the lowest costing ever. The prices range from $ 4.5 million for a one-bedroom (Phase 1B) $6.5 million for a bedroom and $8.5 million for a three bedroom unit.
Each home owner will be able to live in a tropical environment conducive to good health with spacious front and back yards and ample parking.
The developers disclosed that so far over 150 of the unfinished one-bedroom homes have been purchased. Twenty-five studious are partially completed while another 25 have reached wall height.
Speaking at the unveiling James Goren disclosed that by October of this year Holland Estates will be handing over a total of fifty homes to their new owners.
Mr. Goren said a display of the future site of the University of Technology Western Campus will be unveiled soon. The ground will feature a gigantic park along with other infrastructure to meet the needs of the new scheme.
The unveiling was attended by Mayor of Falmouth Collin Gager, Custos Paul Muschette and Carol Rose-Brown of the Ministry of Tourism.
