A ray of hope?

Recently, I received a telephone call from a reader, the son of a very prominent musician, who served in band music entertainment under the leadership of a graduate of the Julliard School of Music and pianist par excellence, the late Cecil Lloyd (Knott - a surname of which a sparse few of us were ever aware, having been a scion of the Rev. Knott of the parish of St. Catherine.
